🌱Spring Planting 🌱
Spring has arrived, and with it comes the return of one of our favourite school traditions: planting season! There was plenty of work to be done as pupils and staff rolled up their sleeves to prepare our vegetable planters for the months ahead.
This year, Mr Mussen and Mrs Crimmins have joined forces with Seamus, our experienced head gardener, to lead the way. Together, they are inspiring our school community to sow, grow and care for a wide range of vegetables and fruits, while also keeping a keen eye on the prize in our annual ‘Best Veg’ competition.
Take a look at the hive of activity as St Bronagh’s playgrounds were transformed into vibrant outdoor classrooms. Pupils and staff alike worked enthusiastically to prepare, plant, and nurture crops such as spinach, cabbage, celery, strawberries, courgettes, sugar snap peas, tomatoes, and an impressive variety of lettuces.
A big green thumbs up to everyone involved, what a fantastic start to the growing season!
