Yesterday, our Eco-Council welcomed a special visitor to our meeting: Jenny Morrison, the new Eco-Schools Field Officer for our council area.
Our Eco Teams introduced themselves and shared the activities St Bronagh’s has focused on over the past two years following our environmental review. Pupils also showcased website posts celebrating our eco initiatives and presented our Eco Notice Board.
Jenny shared her expertise on the MyEarthNI platform, guiding us to the action cards that align with our current projects. She also explained the points system that schools can earn through eco-related activities.
Pupils and staff thanked Jenny for her time and valuable insights. We learned a great deal and look forward to using the MyEarthNI platform and welcoming Jenny back in the future.
