Shared Education for P6

12th Jun 2019

This term Primary 6 worked with their counterparts in Dromore Road through online collaboration. They used the C2K site Fronter, which is widely used by both primary and secondary schools to promote personalised learning and collaborative work. The pupils answered prepared questions online and then shared their answers through a discussion forum. These questions were about hobbies and pupil likes and dislikes and the pupils were able to identify children from their partnership school with similar interests. On Tuesday June 11th, the P6 pupils from St. Bronagh's PS and the P6/7 pupils from Dromore Road Primary School travelled together to Slieve Gullion Forest Park for a fun day and picnic. They were then able to match a face with the name of the person they had got to know about on Fronter.
