Scoil na Bliana
We are delighted to share that our school has been officially awarded the inaugural ‘Scoil na Bliana’ (School of the Year) award from Gael Linn. This recognition celebrates our ongoing efforts to promote and embed the Irish language across all aspects of school life.
This award highlights the powerful role that learning a second language can play in raising aspirations, building confidence and supporting the holistic development of our pupils. It reflects a genuine team effort from our dedicated staff, supportive parents and the wider Rostrevor community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Rostrevor GAA for their continued support and to Mrs Gordon for her delivery of Ranganna Gaeilge, creating a positive and engaging environment where our pupils thrive.
Most importantly, comhghairdeas mór to our páistí. Their enthusiasm and commitment are at the heart of this achievement. We are incredibly proud of them all. Maith sibh a chairde!
To celebrate, we will be hosting a Lá Spraoí on Friday 1st May, with a range of activities including Céilí dancing, Bingo as Gaeilge and Gaelic coaching with Conor Laverty.
Go raibh maith agaibh to everyone who continues to support our school.
