Primary 4 had lots of tricks up their sleeves when they turned fruit kebabs into magic wands.
This fun-filled, hands-on lesson combined learning about healthy eating for their Wonderful Me topic with learning about the features of Procedural Writing in Literacy.
The children explored:
🌟time related words - first, next, then
🌟bossy verbs - cut, slice, chop
🌟adverbs - slowly, carefully
… and to finish the lesson they got to enjoy all the delicious fruit (even the leftovers!)
