🔢Primary 4 celebrate Maths Week
Primary 4 had a brilliant week of fun, curiosity and mathematical thinking as they celebrated Maths Week.
The children took their learning outdoors for an exciting numeracy trail where they developed lots of skills in number, capacity and measure.
The children worked together to:
⭐️estimate
⭐️compare
⭐️calculate
⭐️record
⭐️reason
⭐️problem solve
Along the way they used plenty of teamwork!
The children also explored shape through play; building, sorting and spotting patterns in 2D and 3D shapes.
To end the week the children used IZAK 9 to solve the numeracy problem ‘Top Brick’, applying strategic thinking and communication skills to find solutions.
🔢What an amazing week of Maths!
