P6 & P7 Girls Win FunFit Shield Final!
A huge congratulations to our brilliant P6 and P7 girls’ Gaelic football team who were crowned FunFit Shield Champions today at St Patrick’s Park, Newcastle!
The girls displayed fantastic teamwork, determination, and skill throughout the final and were fully deserving of their victory. Every player contributed and it was clear just how hard they’ve worked so far this season. A special word of congratulations goes to Katie, who was named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance.
Well done to St Joseph’s, Crossgar, who were worthy finalists and gave a strong and spirited performance, commiserations to them on a great game.
We would also like to thank Colm Gribben for refereeing the match so fairly, and to FunFit for organising and facilitating such a great competition.
A big thank you to Mr Murney and Mrs Clarke for their dedicated coaching and support of the girls throughout the tournament.
Finally, thank you to all the supporters who came along to cheer on our team, it meant the world to the girls!
Up the Super Reds!
