P3 Assembly: Ag Gabháil Buíochais le Dia

5th Jun 2026

Today, our Primary 3 children led a beautiful assembly, reminding us of the importance of thanking God for a wonderful school year and asking Him to watch over us during the summer months.

During assembly, we reflected on our core value for May, Honesty. We talked about the positive impact honesty has on everyone around us and how it helps to build trust, respect and strong relationships. We reminded our páistí that we all make mistakes, but in St Bronagh’s we try to own our mistakes, say sorry, learn from them and move forward together. Congratulations to Farrah as being someone working hard on living out this value!

We then introduced our next core value, Faith, and thought about how faith is something we live out each day through prayer, kindness, forgiveness, respect and care for others.

It was also a very special assembly for our whole school community as we welcomed Mrs Harvey from CCMS and Mr Gallagher, our former Principal, who joined us to present our SEL Worldwide Model School award. This recognition celebrates the way Social and Emotional Learning, through the PATHS® Programme, is not just taught, but lived out every day in St Bronagh’s.

We also celebrated all our Réalt na Seachtaine award winners, recognising the fantastic things they are doing in our classrooms, playgrounds and corridors.

A huge well done to Primary 3 for leading us so confidently and thoughtfully. As we approach the end of another busy and successful school year, they reminded us that we have so much to be grateful for.

Maith sibh, Primary 3!
