A huge well done to our brilliant Netball Team, who enjoyed a fantastic day at the recent blitz in St Colman’s, Kilkeel.
We are incredibly proud of the girls and the effort, teamwork and sportsmanship they showed throughout the day. Like all of our teams who represent St Bronagh’s, they demonstrated all that is good about our school; commitment, respect, encouragement and a great understanding of what it means to be part of a team.
The girls have worked so hard in preparation for the blitz and it was lovely to see their confidence, skill and enjoyment on display. They were a credit to themselves, their families and our whole school community.
We would also like to extend our thanks to St Colman’s, Kilkeel, and in particular Mr Sands, for the kind invitation and for organising such an enjoyable day of netball for the girls.
A very special word of thanks also goes to Mrs Fegan, who has given so generously of her time to coach the girls after school through our Netball Club. Opportunities like these only happen because our staff are so invested in our children. We are incredibly grateful for them all.
