As part of Maths Week Ireland (11th–19th October), our Primary 1 pupils took their learning outdoors with an exciting and interactive Maths Trail around the playground. The children explored a series of large blue buttons, each featuring a recorded maths challenge to solve. Using their knowledge of number, shape, measures, and sorting, the pupils worked together to tackle each problem — putting their mathematical thinking into action in a fun and hands-on way.
