There was a real buzz around the school as we celebrated our Red and Black Day, showing our support for our fantastic Primary 7 boys ahead of their Ulster Finals journey.
The boys did themselves, their families and our whole school community incredibly proud. They played with heart and determination, securing brilliant wins against the champions of Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry along the way.
While their journey ended in the semi-final against Bunscoil Phobal Feirste, it certainly doesn’t take away from what they achieved. We are so proud of each and every one of these young men and we know this is only the beginning. They will continue to represent their school and their clubs with the same pride and passion in the years ahead.
We’re now all looking forward to another big occasion as our County Senior Footballers take to Croke Park this Saturday evening at 7.15pm in the Division 3 League Final against Wexford. We’ll be cheering them on every step of the way!
