Harvest Time at St Bronagh’s

Harvest time brought an abundance of fruit and vegetables from our school vegetable plot into the homes of our pupils. Grown in school in the morning and cooked for dinner in the evening...how fresh is that? No air miles, just home-grown goodness!

We also held our Vegetable Leaders’ Competition, with some fantastic entries.

The winner of the strawberry competition was Seamus.
The winning cabbage was grown by Mrs Crimmins.
The best lettuce award went to Mr Mussen.

Congratulations to all our prize winners. However, when you get to eat food you have grown yourself, everyone is a winner.
