Eco Ambassador Award
On Thursday 5 June, three of our pupils along with Mr Mussen and Mrs Downey were honoured to attend the Eco-Schools Awards event in the Great Hall Conference Centre, Downpatrick, where St Bronagh’s was proudly presented with the Ambassador School Award.
This prestigious award recognises the outstanding leadership of our Eco Council and the collective efforts of the entire school community in keeping our school green, clean and environmentally aware. It celebrates the commitment of everyone involved – from our pupils and staff to the valuable connections we have built with other schools and the wider community, especially the wonderful Rostrevor Men’s Shed.
It was also a lovely moment to reconnect with past pupil Abbie, who was part of our first Eco Council and helped us achieve our very first Green Flag as a Primary 4 pupil back in 2014.
They say teamwork makes the dream work – and at St Bronagh’s, that couldn’t be more true. Well done, everyone!
