Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí - County Champions
A huge congratulations to our Boys’ Gaelic Football Team who have been crowned Cumann na mBunscol An Dún 11-a-side County Champions.
In a tightly contested final, our young men showed tremendous courage, skill and determination to come out on top against an excellent Carrick Primary School side. It was a fitting final game for this very special group of boys, who have now completed a historic double by becoming both Indoor and Outdoor County Champions.
This is an incredible achievement and one which will live long in the memory of everyone connected with St Bronagh’s. We are so proud of the way our boys represented our school, not only through their performances on the pitch, but through their teamwork, sportsmanship and character throughout the competition.
A sincere word of thanks to our coaches, Mr Murney, Mrs Clarke and Ronan McCartan, for the countless hours of commitment, dedication and focus they have given to each of our children. Their encouragement, guidance and belief in the boys have played such an important part in this success.
As always, we are hugely grateful for the continued support of Rostrevor GAA Club. We look forward to watching each of these young players continue to wear the Red and Black of Rostrevor with pride over the weeks, months and years ahead.
Maith sibh, a bhuachaillí. County Champions!
