The "Christmas Fun Day" on Wednesday 18th December, proved to be a fantastic day for the children in our school. We began with a movie and popcorn, followed by a visit to Santa in his grotto where everyone was presented with a selection box. The activities continued after lunch with a very funny Magic show and finished with a disco.
On behalf of the whole school we would like to thank Jarlath Tinnelly and Laura Clerkin and her team who facilitated and managed the event and of course our thanks goes to Santa and the Magician who entertained us thoroughly all day. Also a very special word of thanks goes to the local funder for providing the financial backing for this and other events in the village. The pupils of our school certainly enjoyed the whole day and it has set them up for the Christmas festivities.
