Congratulations to our outstanding Primary Six footballers who represented St Bronagh’s with pride, determination and skill at the St Colman’s College Blitz in Violet Hill today.

With twenty teams from across Down and Armagh taking part, our boys topped their group with a series of strong performances. They went on to defeat Bessbrook in the quarter-final and Crossmaglen in the semi-final, securing their place in the final against a talented Saval side. In a thrilling match, a repeat of the South Down FunFit final, this time our boys emerged victorious, winning by three points.

Lifting the Cup in such a competitive tournament is a fantastic achievement and a special moment for everyone at St Bronagh’s. We are incredibly proud of these young men for their teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. A special word of congratulations goes to Cillian, who was deservedly named Player of the Tournament.

Sincere thanks to St Colman’s College for organising a superb day of Gaelic football.

Well done, boys!
