Bird Watching at St. Bronagh's

1st May 2019

St. Bronagh's Primary One class teamed up with pupils from Little Folk and had lots of fun and enjoyment taking part in bird watching activities under the guidance of Catherine from the RSPB. They thoroughly enjoyed listening to stories, identifying birds and singing like larks to their very own birdsong! "Tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet!" Having said her goodbyes to Primary One and Little Folk, Catherine then assisted each class in bird watching within our school grounds. We saw a variety of birds to include; rooks, jackdaws, magpies, hooded crows, pied wagtails, siskins and near our bird feeders, the gold finch and blue tit song could be heard and some classes even got to see them! We recently heard that some of the Little Folk pupils have spotted some of these birds in their own school garden!! Maybe you could have a go at bird watching too!
