Assembly Highlights
This morning, our whole school community came together to pray, learn and celebrate our many achievements.
As part of Anti-Bullying Week, our Primary Six class led an assembly focused on the importance of kindness, a key value we all share and strive to live out each day. Jack reminded us that it’s often the small acts of kindness that have the greatest impact on others.
We were also delighted to introduce our newest school award, Gradam an Phríomhoide. This special award will be presented each month to a pupil who consistently demonstrates one of our school’s core values. Our very first recipient was Fionn, recognised for his consistent acts of kindness throughout October and November. Comhghairdeas leat, Fionn!
Following this, our teachers presented the Réalt na Seachtaine certificates to pupils who have been making an extra special effort in their learning and in our school community.
Finally, our PATHS Thought for the Week reminded us that conflict is inevitable, we won’t always agree on everything, and that’s ok! What matters most is how we deal with conflict; with kindness, respect and understanding, remembering that it’s perfectly fine to agree to disagree.
Well done to everyone involved. A great way to end the week!
