Primary 5 are currently learning about the Ancient Egyptians as their World Around Us topic. They had great fun drawing and creating the famous Death Masks, the Pyramids and the Canopic Jars and learning how to write using the HIEROGLYPHIC ALPHABET. They even wrote their names on real papyrus, a paper made by the Egyptians from the plant, Papyrus, which grows on the banks of the River Nile.
