A Visit from the PSNI

26th Feb 2024

Our P1 children are currently learning all about the different ‘People Who Help Us.’ Last week they focused on the police. On Friday 23rd February, the PSNI came to visit the P1 class to chat about their uniform, equipment and their very important role in our community. The children asked lots of great questions and were wonderful listeners throughout the visit. The PSNI were so impressed by the children’s very own police badges. The pupils had the opportunity to see the police car and even got to sit inside whilst the blue lights were flashing. Luckily, the police did not need to take any of our P1 children with them as they were all so wonderfully behaved! When the police were leaving, we got to hear the very loud sirens. Thank you to Christine and Matthew from the PSNI for taking time to talk to our P1 children.
