Farewell Fr. Kearns

16th Oct 2020

On Friday morning, the pupils and staff of St. Bronagh’s PS said a fond farewell to our friend and chairman of our Board of Governors, Fr Kearns. The children had a lovely surprise for him as they presented a variety of cards with their personal messages thanking him for all he has done for them and for our school. Mr Gallagher congratulated him on all he had achieved in his time in Rostrevor and presented a token of appreciation on behalf of the school. The pupils and staff all joined in singing "Open Your Eyes.” An emotional and fitting tribute to Fr. Kearns. He will be greatly missed by all in our school community and we wish him all the best as he takes up his new position as Parish Priest of Warrenpoint and Burren. We realise that he has a busy time ahead, but know that he will make time to read each personal message and remember his cherished moments in Rostrevor.
