Enjoy these pictures of the very exciting P4 class trip to the Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry.

This turtle got lost on his way to Tenerife.

I think he knows how to get home now.

A giant fish tank. Mesmerising.

A black tipped shark. Can anyone remember why sharks have to keep swimming?

What are we having for lunch?

These two seal pups have been rescued and are being looked after until they can be released back into the wild. How many seals did Exploris help this year?

And Exploris provides a sanctuary for otters too.

They love to eat molluscs.

Now how did this visitor arrive in Exploris? I think he's a long way from home.

Time to roll the sleeves up again...

...and get to meet the dogfish and the stingrays.

P4 loved every minute of our trip to Exploris. We had the chance to get close to such a variety of amazing sea life and we want to make sure that these creatures will be here for future generations. So let's do something drastic and reduce our use of plastic because our oceans are fantastic!!
